11 January: presented the project of the monument to St. George Guild by means of a projection which includes information on the various Boards that have passed through the Guild of St. George. We continue with the exhibition of the different phases in which the Monument Project will unfold. To finish, the 7 original figures reproduction of the Monument to St. George, numbered and signed by the sculptor.
28 January: the Government Commission of the City Council approves the requalification of the land of the old surroundings of the Hermitage of the Conjuror, as well as the project of landscaping and public use of what will be the surroundings of the Monument to Sant Jordi, which will be presented to the Plenary of the City Council for its final approval.
8 February: is published in the DOGV, name 4186, the requalification of the land of the old surroundings of the Hermitage of the Conjuror, as well as the project of landscaping and public use of what will be the surroundings of the Monument to Sant Jordi.
22 February: At 20,00 h., the 1st General Assembly of the Brotherhood of Sant Jordi, at the Main Theater. In which he is elected as the new President for the term 2002 – 2005 D. Francisco Sanchis Tree.
1 March: the arrangements for the transfer of the land where the old Ermita del Conjurador was located to the City Council are finalized, approved by the Archbishopric and Valencia.
23 d'abril: the Mass of Sant Jordi is presided over by José María Payá Mataix. Attending in a prominent place are the young ladies who twenty-five years ago were the Ladies of Honor and Queen of the Moors and Christians festivities in 1977, which also prominently participate in the Solemn Procession of the evening. Before the end of the Eucharist, the Board of Directors for the period is announced 2002 – 2005: President: In Francisco Sanchis French, Vice President: Ángel Sanjuán Gisbert, Treasurer: Javier Albero Ribera and Secretary: Maria Inmaculada Salas Molina. Once the Major Mass is over, the Board of Directors proceeds to draw one of the 7 original figures reproduction of the Sant Jordi Monument in bronze, numbered and signed by the sculptor, which was raffled off in order to collect funds to pay for the Monument, being the lucky ones the Row of Students, with the ballot 2035.
28 d'abril: a financial gratuity is agreed for the Organist who performs in different events organized by the Confraternity of Sant Jordi.
30 of April: the second inventory of the heritage that the Confraternity of Sant Jordi owns and administers on behalf of all the Banyeruts is carried out.
4 May: the Board of Directors Change Dinner is held, at the Pyramid Restaurant.
20 May: the Effective Transfer and Change of the Board of Directors of the Brotherhood of Sant Jordi is carried out.
4 November: the previous Board of Directors, chaired by Jorge Juan Francés Albero, gives him the Ledger, the Balance Sheet and Inventory for the period 1998 – 2002, of his mandate at the front of the Brotherhood of Sant Jordi, to President Francisco Sanchis Francés.
2 March: the commercialization of a new roda-balcó de Sant Jordi begins, made in jacquard with two color tones.

28 January: The City Council financially allocates a budget item to take care of the landscaping and conditioning work on the land where the former Ermita del Conjurador stood.
14 February: the Mayorals of the Sant Jordi Brotherhood unconditionally support the Sant Jordi Monument project, in the face of the technical and economic difficulties arising from the process of casting it.
17 February: the Board of Directors approves the sketch of the Monument to Sant Jordi made by the Valencian artist Manuel Boix.
The M. I. Banyeres de Mariola City Council has revised up the financial endowment that was planned in the municipal budget to attend to the landscaping and conditioning work of the land where the Sant Jordi Monument will be located.

During the month of August: the architect Francisco Picó Silvestre, presents to the City Council the Urbanization and Conditioning Project of the land where the former Hermitage of the Conjuror stood, where the Monument will be located in Sant Jordi.
8 August: the Board of Directors makes a trip to the Vatican in Rome, where he had an audience with His Holiness John Paul II, who has been given the insignia of the Board of Directors of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi, and they have brought him the Relic of Sant Jordi that came to Banyeres last year 1780. The Director of the Parish of Santa Maria and Councilor of the Brotherhood of Sant Jordi Ricardo Diaz of Rabago and Verdeguer, has been received by the Spanish representative Monsignor Vicente Juan Segura at the Vatican. 12 September: the architect Francisco Picó Silvestre meets with the Board of Directors to report on the changes in the Urbanization and Conditioning Project of the land where the former Ermita del Conjurador was, as well as all the clarifications arising on the same derived from the regulations in force for the protection of heritage, in this case the castle of Banyeres de Mariola.
During the month of September, the Parish Council, approves the transfer of the land where the old Ermita del Conjurador was located to the City Council for this specific purpose, and it is agreed that if at any time any municipal governing body intends to give it another purpose other than the agreed, these lands would return to the Confraternity of Sant Jordi.
During the month of September: the Urbanization and Conditioning Project of the land where the former Ermita del Conjurador stood is delivered to the Technical Office of the Banyeres de Mariola Town Council.
23 November: the Archbishop of Valencia signs the authorization so that the Rector of the Parish of Santa Maria and Councilor of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi Ricardo Díaz de Rábago y Verdeguer can sign the Contract of Transfer to the City Council of the lot where the Ermita del Conjurador used to be and where the monument to Sant Jordi will soon be located.
The Font Bona Cultural Research Group publishes the book "Photographic report on Banyeres de Mariola and its people through time". The City Council advances the payment of the costs of publishing the book i, once these are covered with the sale of the same, the profit obtained will be for the Brotherhood, dedicating this income to the financing of the monument project.
2000
10 January: the Assembly of Confraternities of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola takes place, in which the new Statutes of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola are approved.
21 of April: commissioned to the architect Francisco Picó Silvestre, the design of the space and landscaping of the lot where the former Hermitage of the Conjuror was located and location of the future Monument to Sant Jordi.
23 d'abril: Day of Glory, being the day of our Patron Saint George, a Campaign Mass is celebrated at the Ermita del Sant before beginning the Transfer of Saint George from his Hermitage to the Parish Temple of Santa Maria, chaired by the municipal authorities, Captains and Flag, Sant Jordi Festivities Committee and Sant Jordi Confraternity, attended by a large number of residents of the village.
28 d'abril: the rector of the church of Sant Roc and Sant Sebastià in Alcoi Adolfo Mullor Borrel presides over the Mass of Sant Jordi. A new decoration for the High Altar is unveiled during the festivities.
During the month of May, the garage-storage is equipped with folding chairs.
1 June: the archive of the social headquarters of the Brotherhood has been furnished and equipped. The furniture is composed of 1 table, 2 chairs and a custom made solid wood bookcase.

9 January: the Board of Directors of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi unanimously approves the new Statutes of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola, to present them in the Assembly of Brothers of the Brotherhood of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola.
12 January: the new Statutes of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola are announced to the former Presidents of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi.
During the rest of the month, the new Statutes of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola are presented to the Parish Council as the highest body responsible for our parish.
18 January: the works on the garage are finished – Sant Jordi's float warehouse and Brotherhood material warehouse, for a local company. Where a wall was erected separating the two premises, in block of 11 cm of thickness, to settle a loft of 12 square meters with two "honeycomb" pillars up to a height of 2'20 m. more or less on which a "grey" beam has been placed 20 cm. of section, at the same time making a "honeycomb" over wall that will serve as a support for the prestressed beams, ceramic swirls and compression layer. Above the loft, and next to the concrete wall, a camera has been made in block of 7 cm of gros i es s´ han col•locat 19 m2, more or less, stoneware flooring. All the vertical walls of the premises and loft have been polished with cement mortar and the trestles with algeps paste in good view, and the premises have been left clean of demolitions.
1 February: the archbishop of Valencia, Monsenyor Agustín García Gascó – Vicente, signs the new Statutes of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi, in a visit to the company's headquarters, the full Board of Directors being present, the previous Presidents of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi, and as an exceptional guest the Mayor of our town as president born of the Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola Festivities Committee, to deliver to Mr.. Archbishop the Statutes of the Brotherhood of Sant Jordi. The event ends with the signature of Mr. Archbishop in the Golden Book of the Brotherhood, remaining pending that the Confraternity gives them legal status with the entry register to the archbishopric to follow and conclude all the formalities for their definitive legalization.
15 of April,: two plastic handles are made for the Sant Jordi Script pole, since a long time ago, the bearers were asking for something to keep it from slipping out of their hands, because of sweat and gloves.

5 September: presiding over the High Mass of the Relic of Sant Jordi is presbyter Juan Antonio Agud, who had been Vicar in our town.
18 September: the last steps are being taken to prepare the notarial document signed by D. José Maria Ferre and D. Miguel Pont, to be the first of them, one of the oldest people in the population and with excellent lucidity and the second for being one of the people who belonged to the first board of directors and knew in its beginnings the principles of the foundation of the Brotherhood.
26 September: the Sant Jordi Festivities Committee agrees to propose to the Confraría de Sant Jordi and to the whole town the celebration of the Festivities of the year 2000 of the 27 al 30 d'abril, to be the day of Glory on 23 d'abril.
The City Council undertakes the rehabilitation, decoration and landscaping of the space where the future Monument to Sant Jordi will be located, taking responsibility for doing something worthy, studying the site, in accordance with what the monument to Sant Jordi should be.
24 October, the 1st Stone of the Sant Jordi Monument is placed, within the Proceedings of 750 Anniversary of the donation by Jaume I to Jofre de Loaysa and his wife Jacometa of the castles and villas of Banyeres and Serrella.
10 of November 1999: the Board of Mayorals of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola is officially constituted. Being formed by the former Presidents, in life, of the Brotherhood: Jose Luis Sempere Belda, Octavio García Payá, Brother Shore Domènech, Jorge Enrique Belda, Belda Francisco Llopis, Juan Sempere Blanes and Vicente Belda Vázquez.
11 of December: the Mayorals of the Brotherhood of Sant Jordi unconditionally support the project of the Monument to Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola, raised by the Board of Directors.
