Arturo Javier García Pérez was born on 25 December 1967 in Alicante, Although it is natural of Jarafuel (Valencia). In October 1989 he entered the seminary and was ordained a priest 27 May 1995.

His priestly ministry unfolded in the diocese of Valencia, with the following pastoral positions: administrator, during the three summer months, in the parishes of St. Charles *Borromeo of Albal and Santa Barbara of Beniparrell; rector of Santa Marina de Torrebaja and six other towns, in the Corner of Ademuz (1995-2002); rector at La nostra Senyora la Verge de la Pau to Villar del Arzobispo (2003-2008); Religion teacher in primary and secondary schools (1995-2008); rector of the Nativity of Our Lady of Turís (2008-2016); the exhausting directors of the subsidiary Seminarity, a Moncada (2016-2022).

At the time of his episcopal appointment, the 6 of November 2024, he was episcopal delegate for Missions and Cooperation with the Churches and director of OMP for the Diocese of Valencia (of 2011). Besides, of 2022, he was rector of the college·legi major-seminari of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Temple of Saint Thomas of Villanueva and rector of the Royal Church of El Salvador of València. of 2011, he is a member of the Presbyteral Council and the Diocesan Pastoral Council and delegate president of the Ad Gents Foundation.

He received episcopal ordination on January 11 2025.
