Re-entry of Banyeres de Mariola in the UNDEF

sunday day 14 March, was celebrated in Bocairent, within the acts of his 150 Anniversary of the celebration of the Moors and Christians festivals, the Annual National Assembly of the UNDEF (National Union of Moors and Christians Festive Entities) to which Banyeres de Mariola had asked weeks before for his re-entry.

The aforementioned Assembly was attended by a commission representing the world of the Festival of Moors and Christians of Banyeres de Mariola with the 1st Lieutenant Mayor, Councilor of Festivities and President of the Sant Jordi Festivities Committee, a wide municipal representation both the Mayor of Festes, the Official Festival Chronicler, the presidents of the ten troupes of our town and the President of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola, who was personally invited by the President of the Sant Jordi Festivities Committee.

In the course of the Assembly, a vote was taken to accept new income in the UNDEF, the re-entry of Banyeres de Mariola being approved unanimously.

So again Banyeres de Mariola belongs to UNDEF, entity of which he had been part of the founding group at the time.
