The Relic of St. George will visit the elderly and sick in the village

Celebrating the Holy Year of Mercy this year, will begin from the Parish and with the collaboration of the Board of Directors of the Brotherhood of St. George, an activity aimed at the elderly and the sick: The Easter of Mercy. Activity agreed unanimously by the Plenary of the Pastoral Council and the Board of Directors of the Confraternity of S. George.

The sick and elderly in our village who wish to do so must communicate in person or through their relatives to the Parish that they wish to participate in this activity.

Activity that will consist of the priest's visit, representative of our Christian community. Visit during which, if you wish, can receive the sacrament of penance, the communion, and even that the Holy Mass be celebrated in his house. In addition, the members of the Board of Directors of the Confraternity of Sant Jordi will privately bring the Relic of our patron Saint George, in this case the one that is venerated throughout the year in his.

Besides, in the event that the sick or elderly person requests the celebration of Holy Mass, the priest will use a copy of the Holy Chalice that is venerated in the Holy Metropolitan Cathedral Church of Valencia, for having been declared this year by Mr. Cardinal – Archbishop of our diocese, the Misseria Calze of the Misseria.
