At the beginning of the s. XX Mr.. José Laporta Valor built a hermitage in neo-Gothic style at Molí Sol, of his property, dedicating it to the Immaculate Conception. In which mass was celebrated on Sundays and holidays, as it used to be, for the family of the owners, neighbors and mill workers, until in the civil war it was destroyed.
The closure of the company, among other reasons, caused a greater deterioration of the same; in the face of this situation and in order to avoid greater harm, the rector Ricardo Diaz de Rábagp y Verdeguer, reached an agreement with Mr. Jorge Silvestre Andrés, President of the company Papeleras Reunidas, S. A., to dismantle the hermitage stone by stone, and that it will become the property of the Parróquia de Banyeres de Mariola.
During the summer of 1985, the members of the group Scout Edelweiss of the Parish of Santa Maria will organize a working field, a dose of thorns: one in the morning and one in the evening, to dismantle the chapel, the Reporting it to the Veller Clean, where all the stones were deposited in the same order and placement in which they had been dismantled.
Four years later the Confraternity of Sant Jordi would begin study work, recovery and reconstruction to dedicate it to our Patron Saint George.
