The 21 October 1986 José María Pascual Castelló (Pompey) symbolically sold the land where the old hermitage was located to the Confraternity of Sant Jordi “the Mass of the Feast of the Relic has been presided over by the former vicar of our parish” so that it will be destined to the cult to the Santo.
The land has been recovered by the Brotherhood and the redevelopment of the plot has been agreed with the City Council, the task of designing and building the current Monument to Sant Jordi was undertaken, blessed year 2003.
