The Brotherhood of St. George hears the death of the Rvdo. In Ricardo José Díaz de Rábago and Verdeguer, rector of the Parish of Santa Maria de Banyeres de Mariola and Councilor of the Brotherhood since the year 1974 fins a l’any 2019.
En Ricardo ha animat espiritualment als membres de l’entitat, contributing that this one always maintains its nature and ecclesiastical aims, as well as encouraging the participation of the same in the diocesan pastoral plans, in accordance with the objectives of the Brotherhood, on matters affecting public worship and matters of faith and customs.
The Brotherhood of St. George is grateful for his unconditional dedication, being promoter of numerous projects carried out by several Boards of directors of the Brotherhood.
We will always remember him for his love of the party and for his faith and devotion in Sant Jordi Màrtir and so he transmits to us year after year in the homilies of the Octavaris of Sant Jordi.
