Held the Dinner for the Change of Boards of Directors 2011

Once the transfer of the Image of Sant Jordi has been completed, from the parish church to its hermitage, all the members who have belonged to the different boards of directors, and that they had previously registered, have gathered at the "Restaurant Mariola" in Banyeres de Mariola to celebrate the traditional Dinner for the Change of Boards of Directors 2011.

The premises decorated with the Sant Jordi banner, that the board of directors had placed on the facade of the parish church for the Feast of Sant Jordi last year 23 d'abril, has strengthened the presence of our Patron Saint George and the sentiment and devotion of all those who have gone through the different boards every three years and of their companions throughout the history of the Brotherhood.

During the dinner, I'm almost to desserts, the current president Jorge Enrique Esteve Romero and the new president José Vicente Berenguer Valls addressed all the attendees a few words; which in the case of the first have been thanks for the unconditional support provided and a manifestation of the new illusions, projects and desire to work on the part of the second.

Once the parliaments of the presidents are concluded, proceeded to welcome and welcome the new board with the imposition of the insignia of the board of directors and the delivery of the Statutes by the Mayoral Major and the components of the board telling the members of the new board of directors that from now until the middle of next 2014 they will have the responsibility of directing and administering the Confraternity of Sant Jordi.

Once the dinner was over, there was camaraderie and a very good atmosphere, and to conclude the celebration, the party continued in the restaurant's disco until little by little all the attendees retired to rest.
