Paco Molina publishes a monograph chamber music

Paco Molina has presented the monographic CD “Croumatism”, name with which he titled the work that premiered in edition number 27 of the Alicante International Music Festival in September 2011, a name that refers to the term with which in ancient Greece musical pieces were called purés.

This work’ install it on the first track of the disc. The following, like the previous one, they are all chamber music with different combinations of wind instruments, string and percussion, with formations from the duo to the septet, going through quartets and quintets. It is about “In Aernix”, “Sounds Described”, “Selegna”, Don't mess around”, Converging Chords” e “Icsapar”, what in 1998 won the XHT edition of the Ciutat d'Alcoi award for Chamber Music.
The performers are l’ Achaeus Together from Bucharest, the Flori-legium String Quartet and the Terol-Gómez Mestre clarinet and piano duo, the latter from Alcoi. The disc has been edited by the EMEC firm (Madrid)-SONY Austria.
Paco Molinaés, founding member of the ECCA, College of Composers born from the School of Composition and Artistic Creation. It should be remembered that his career also includes the authorship of the mass sung in honor of Sant Jordi, which premiered on 23 April of 2010 and which was commissioned by the Confraternity of Sant Jordi
