The Brotherhood of Sant Jordi will organize an exhibition at the Valor del Foundation 18 al 20 November November dedicated to the iconography of Sant Jordi. It is planned to show the extensive collection that exists in Banyeres in this regard, both owned by the institution and derived from the contribution of individuals.
They will be exposed, among other works, the recently restored chalice given by Nieves Molina's heirs, daughter of who was an illustrious bather, D. Gregorio Mo¬lina, a spot in which there is an enamel of Sant Jordi at its base. The old front of the altar of Sant Jordi in the castle of Xàtiva will also be shown, also given by the aforementioned family and which has a painting of the Patrón as its main element.
The exhibition will be equipped with security measures to guarantee the protection of the pieces that will be exhibited. Despite the amount of materials already available, The confraternity is calling on those people who want to contribute an image of Sant Jordi to this exhibition. If this is the case, they can tell the people in charge of the institution and specify a visit to make the appropriate cataloging and fix the details of the contribution.
