The day 7 May, Saturday, Banyeres officially concluded this year's Moors and Christians festivities with the last event of the program: the procession of the Transfer of the image of Sant Jordi from the church to its hermitage.
The event was well attended, taking an active part in the representation of the different party lines with their captains and flag bearers, Festivities Committee and Sant Jordi Brotherhood, as well as the Municipal Corporation in full.
The procession concluded in the chapel, where the image was deposited, when a fireworks display was set off.
