Since the council's intention to hold a consultation to decide on the dates of the festivities was made public, no entity has defended, at least publicly, one posture or another. The argument for opting for one option or the other has been debated in “groups”, in private conversations and in the field of social networks, But it has been in these that the two positions have been discussed and polarized with intensity.

YES TO CHANGE

The posture of “yes” commented to be defended immediately through the platform “for everyone's parties, Yes to change”. This has the web “sialcanvi.com” in which they defend themselves up to 23 reasons to argue for a positive vote for the change, number that matches the day 23, St. George's Day. Depending on the platform, there they are collected “the opinions and feelings of those in favor of change, of which they consider that, with a small gesture, we encourage participation in our party”. The website adds a named section “important information”, another dedicated to other towns that have already changed their festivals, a calendar with important dates and access to the different networks.

I WILL VOTE NO TOO

Regardless of the movements that fluctuate endlessly on the networks defending yes or no, weeks later the profile appeared on Facebook “I will also vote no”, under which another platform appears, in this case refusal to change. Also in this case, a list of reasons is put forward, around twenty, all of them accompanied by their corresponding arguments, to defend the convenience of keeping Moors and Christians festivals on traditional dates.
