Continuamos aportando datos para nuestra historia. Hoy lo hacemos publicando el escrito que nos remitió el Cabildo Metropolitano.
ECMO. CABILDO METROPOLITANO – VALENCIA
With gratitude and affection to:
D. Ricardo Diaz de Rabago, Párroco de Banyeres de Mariola,
y a D. José Vicente Berenguer Valls, President of the Brotherhood of San Jorge.
Habiendo dejado reposar unos días la grata experiencia tenida en la Fiesta de la Reliquia de san Jorge, siento como un grato deber manifestarles epistolarmente la amplia complacencia – mía personal y del Cabildo Catedralicio de Valencia en los miembros del mismo que participamos en la Fiesta – cuando éramos portadores de la Reliquia de la “mano y brazo” de san Jorge a esa “noble, leal, faithful and real ”Villa de Banyeres de Mariola.
Our gratitude is manifested by the blessing that involved for us participate in a demonstration of religiosity and citizenship as commendable as the one offered by the Banyerenses Christians on the first Sunday of September of this year this year 2013.
Rendidas gracias damos a Dios y al mártir san Jorge, – patrono junto a María Santísima – For the manifest samples of popular authenticity that we could appreciate at different times of the celebration: both in strictly religious and civic acts, social and "festions".
One more time: cordial y dichosa enhorabuena estrechando vínculos entre la Catedral y la dimensión “jorgiana” de Mariola.
Recibid un saludo afectuoso y sinceramente cordial extensivo a cuantos participaron en la venturosa fiesta de la Reliquia de san Jorge.
