ALLELUIA! It is the believer's explosion of joy at the reality of the resurrected Jesus..
evil can be defeated. Christ has conquered death: And opens the doors of glory for us. The eternal joy.
Our joy is overflowing. We are Christians in celebration. Even though, sometimes, this reality had been clouded, for centuries, by religious rigorist currents.
Christ did not stay on the cross. On Good Friday itself he is taken down from the cross. The new era begins fully with the resurrected Christ. That's the big announcement: The Lord is risen! We repeat: Christ has conquered sin and death.
With Easter everything announced by Jesus in the gospel fully begins., “the good news”. Good news for man. Good news for the man of our time. Hallelujah!
This reality, with true wisdom, that only the simple ones know, It was integrated into the life of our people and lives it to the fullest.: Our party, our parties, start on Easter day, easter morning, with something as emblematic as the “Flag Plant”. Always a sign of victory. And as is traditional throughout history: At the top of the castle, of the tower, of the fortress; and on top of the hill or mountain (Sto. Christ).
And from there the town festivals, of the community. In our case party, human and christian. triumph festivities, of freedom.
Once again we want to remind you that the Christian holiday has its origin in Easter., in the resurrection. Reality that will crystallize in other experiences of saints, martyrs, Christ, Maria…, in towns and places. But everything has its origin and its cause in the resurrection without the resurrection everything would be in vain.
Let us be happy to be one of the towns that has its festivals in the ideal and genuine framework of the Christian festival.: Easter.
