Before Martyrdom, slow march composed by Banjamín Francés Luna and given to the Sant Jordi Brotherhood

Composer Benjamín Francés Luna gives this slow march to the Confraternity of Sant Jordi de Banyeres de Mariola. It is based on a short melody extracted from the common liturgy of the apostles martyrs. Fantasy, can be divided into three parts: The first evokes meditations and thoughts. The second and third try to reflect the preparation for martyrdom, the reception in paradise, and the moment of glory when you sit to the right of the father.

The 12 April 10 at the Cathedral of the Brotherhood of Sant Jordi the president made delivery of a copy of the composition in Bejamin Francés Luna, to the Parish of Our Lady of Mercy, At the Sant Jordi Festival Commission, To the Presidents of the Row and the Musical Entities.

The premiere is scheduled, the 21 from April to 19:00 h in the Hermitage of Sant Jordi, Before starting the transfer procession. This will be performed by the two local musical entities, The Banyeres de Mariola Music Society and the Music Grouping “The New”, lift the baton of Enrique Alborch Tarrasó.
